Three Cups. One Season. A New Era for Community Rugby.
Try Break Tours is bringing something new to community rugby this season.
Following the launch of Try Break Tours, we're delighted to announce three brand-new cup competitions at Epping Upper Clapton RFC, giving youth teams the chance to compete, create memories and enjoy a festival-style rugby experience before they tour.
These aren't simply tournaments. They are the beginning of what Try Break Tours wants to build: high-quality, exciting rugby experiences designed around community clubs, players and families.
? The U13s GS8 Cup — Sunday 13th September
We kick things off with the U13s GS8 Cup, hosted in collaboration with Epping Upper Clapton RFC and sponsored by GS8.
The first of the three cups will set the tone for the season, bringing together U13 teams for a full day of competitive rugby, atmosphere and plenty happening away from the pitch too.
And there's a pretty special prize waiting for the winning team…
? Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final 2027 tickets
It's a competition that gives young players something genuinely memorable to play for, while giving clubs and families a brilliant day out.
? The U15s Fairview Cup — Saturday 25th October
Next up is the U15s Fairview Cup.
The response to this competition has already been incredible. Places filled within just 24 hours of opening, highlighting the demand from community clubs for well-organised, competitive youth rugby events.
The Fairview Cup will bring U15 teams together for another full day of rugby at Epping Upper Clapton RFC, with the focus firmly on creating an experience that players, coaches and families will remember.
For us, that's what these events are all about.
Not just fixtures.
Not just results.
An experience.
? The U14s GS8 Cup — Sunday 1st November
Completing the trio is the U14s GS8 Cup on Sunday 1st November.
Following the success and demand surrounding the first two events, the U14s competition will provide another opportunity for clubs to get involved in the Try Break Tours experience.
We're expecting another strong field, with places being offered to clubs who want to be part of what we're building.
More Than Just Rugby
The three cups represent an important part of the Try Break Tours vision.
We know community rugby clubs. We understand what makes these days important to players, parents, coaches and volunteers because we've spent years working alongside clubs across the game.
Our aim is to take that experience and create events that feel different.
That means competitive rugby, but also atmosphere, entertainment, prizes, family involvement and memories that go beyond the final whistle.
Whether you're a player stepping onto the pitch, a coach leading your team, a parent watching from the sideline or a volunteer helping your club run, we want you to leave thinking:
“That was a brilliant day.”
The Start of Something Bigger
These three cups are just the beginning.
Try Break Tours has been created to give community rugby clubs more opportunities to experience something different — both through our cup competitions and through the wider rugby experiences we are developing.
From festivals and events to our future rugby tours, the ambition is simple:
Bring clubs together. Create unforgettable experiences. Celebrate community rugby.
And with three cups already lined up at Epping Upper Clapton RFC, we're excited to see where this journey takes us.
Three cups. Hundreds of players. Dozens of clubs. One shared love of rugby.
Welcome to Try Break Tours.
